GET THOSE LOOPS WORKING

Richmond Park MP Dr Jenny Tonge has written to the managers of local cinemas asking them to ensure their induction loops for hearing aids are working at all times.

"A constituent contacted my office recently, to complain that she had visited the cinema with a friend, only to find the induction loop was not working, spoiling her friend's enjoyment of the film they had gone to see" the MP explained.

"Many of my constituents are hearing-impaired but still enjoy going to the cinema. The provision of induction loops is central to their enjoyment."
