Jenny Tonge MP: "I have recently been informed that there are plans to close the Post Office at 48 Upper Richmond Road West. "

"I am dismayed that yet another Post Office is under threat in my Constituency and I strongly urge people to voice their objections before 30th June 2003, which is the closing date for enquiries. "

"I have been campaigning for some time against the closures, and I will be working closely with local campaigners over the next few weeks to protest against these plans. This Post Office branch is a valuable facility for the community, especially the elderly who may only be able to walk short distances. "
