Richmond and Kew Consultation

On Friday October 31st Jenny Tonge MP held a consultation meeting for North and South Richmond and Kew. During the meeting Dr Tonge discussed a number of important topics ranging from airport expansion, to mobile phone masts.

Jenny Tonge MP, "I am particularly keen on these sort of consultation meetings, since they give me a chance to listen to what the public have to say about local issues that are of concern to them. I will be holding a number of similar meetings for other wards within my Constituency over the next few months which I hope people will be able to attend. I think it is important for people to be able to tackle me directly about any concerns they may have about local issues."

The meeting was also attended by Serge Lourie, Leader of the Lib Dem group in the Council, and Susan Kramer, prospective parliamentary candidate for Richmond Park, both of whom contributed actively to discussions on issues including Crossrail and local planning.
